On the evening of the 29th, first celebrations start on the streets, with street festivals and performances throughout the Amsterdam. The free market on the streets usually starts very early in the morning of the 30th. Koninginnedag usually gets really started arround 12 in the afternoon (depends on the weather). Most bars are open all day long and sell beer outside. The bars close at 3 this year.
