Since 1984, Gay & Lesbian bookstore Vrolijk is one of the biggest and best-known gay/lesbian bookshops in Europe, with 2 floors. The shop has a large gay DVD collection of arthouse films. The store is located behind the Queen's Palace, near Dam Square.
