Party celebrating Eurovision and European Schlagers. What's a schlager? Schlager music in modern terms is the genre of music that is best described as ‘Abba-esque’. Coming from the German word for “hitter” or a music “hit”, it describes modern traditional pop music, predominantly from Scandinavia. So lots of ABBA, trash, Stock, Aitken and Waterman’s, Steps, Deuce, British Eurovision acts, Scooch and the odd boyband song.
