Annual outdoor NYC Pride party at the Pier 54 on the Sunday of the big Pride March.

The Dance on the Pier was born out of a time when the gay community could not dance, openly and proudly with other members of the LGBT community. It is a protest set to music, a celebration set to the western skyline and a reminder of how far we've come these last 2 decades. 100% of the proceeds from Dance on the Pier benefit New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Pride Week Events and community organizations.

Every edition has a special guest star, with the likes of Janet or Mariah. The party is closed with huge fireworks.
